There are many things to be taken into consideration when it comes to nutrition and dieting. We need to eat low calorie foods but foods that are good for us.

How many times have you tried to reduce your calorie intake enough to lose weight but maintain proper nutrition? How many times have you had the same outcome … there is not a large enough selection to keep your menu from becoming repetitive and this leads to boredom and this leads to a loss of motivation. Nutrition and Dieting all of a sudden fall from the priority list.

We all have something we can share when it comes to reducing calories. How do you do it? What are your favorite foods, menus and secret combinations that you love and that you use when you are striving to reduce calories?

With your help we can build a list of alternatives to keep variety in our life (yes, I’m still talking about low-fat calorie combinations).

Title (Yogurt and fruit)

Take a small glass cup or bowl (see through is more appealing to the pallet)
Strawberry/Banana yogurt
Strawberries
Banana’s
No-fat whip topping or coolwhip.

Layer a little yogurt, then a thin layer of strawberries, then another layer of yogurt, then a layer of banana’s, another layer of yogurt and then top with a squirt or scoop of whip topping.

Great nutrition – appealing, and an added variety to your low fat desserts or snacks that doesn’t taste low-fat!
