When there is a crisis in your life you experience a high degree of stress. This could come about for multiple reasons such as a death of a loved one or a divorce.

This also could be prompted by a major change such as moving to a new area, taking on a new job, or getting a promotion.

When such changes occur, it will take several months for you to advance through an adjustment period and accept these new beginnings.

As our life advances from one level to another we step from a familiar side of life, one of which we were comfortable with, to the unfamiliar side which causes discomfort.

Changes encourage us, or sometimes push us, to step out of our comfort zone.

When this occurs the high amounts of stress that are experienced are due to the vast number of changes that we are experiencing at the same time.

We are temporarily overcome by stress and anxiety. We need to find an outlet possibly through a hobby
to avoid stress overload and keep us healthy
by recreating the balance within our life.
